My bruise: haiku! (And yes, I'm waiting for the rain to stop)

it is black and blue
yucky green and purple
and yes, it still hurts.

Yes, William Harris!
I really want to blame you
but it was your job.

Hopefully, the bruise
will be gone before the day
I read the poem.
